Definition

     central hemangioma 는 capillary carvernous 또는 venous blood vessel로 구성된 uncommon
          intrabony legion임.
     혈관의 증식으로 내피세포가 있음.

Clinical and Radiographic Feature

     1. 10-20세에서 호발.
     2. 여성에게서 호발.
     3. mandible에서 호발
     4. legion 이 전체적으로 asymptomatic 하지만 대부분의 경우 pain과 swelling을 동반함.
        치아의 mobility도 있음.
     5. bruit hemangioma of bone,
        또는 pulsation hemangioma of bone 도 존재.
     6. 방사선상에 각각의 lodule은 small honey
         작은 경우 : honey comb 모양
         큰 경우 : soap bubble (비누방울) 모양.
     7. 때때로 방사선상에서 "sunburst"양상을 보이기도 함.

Histopathologic Feature

     - 한층의 endothelial cell로 lining 된 numerous vascular channel 에 의해 supporting 되는 fibrous
           connective tissue structure로 구성됨.


Treatment and Prognosis

     1. 심한 출혈 때문에 위험한 병변임.
     2. biopsy에 우선해서 진단되지 않은 intrabony legion의 needle aspiration은 hemangioma을 판별
           하는데 효과적임.
     3. resection 또는 curettage, cryotherapy hemangioma of bone radiation, sclerosing solution의
           injection으로 치료.
